The program focuses on the creative aspects of music production like MIDI sequencing and programming, music theory, arranging techniques, mixing, and mastering.
We cover a broad range of musical genres, production techniques, and industry-standard software packages with a hands-on approach. Therefore graduates will be able to produce music in a variety of styles.

To apply for an accredited full-time course you need to complete the online application form by clicking on the Apply button above.
Once your application has been received, we will contact you and request a copy of your matric certificate, current report, or your preliminary matric results if you have not yet passed grade 12, as well as a copy of your ID.
Our college registrar will then contact you for the outstanding documentation which includes a copy of your payees’ ID and proof of income. We will send you the payment contract to complete as well as the invoices for the registration fee and the course fee.
Your registration fee secures your seat at EMENDY for the next intake.
All course registrations close 2 weeks before the course starting date. Late registrations will be open until the course starting date at an additional fee.
National Senior Certificate with a Higher Certificate Pass or an equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification.
40% in your Home Language.
40% in two other subjects.
30% for three other subjects.
It is important to note that one of your languages must either be English or Afrikaans to qualify for a Higher Certificate.
Depending on your study methods, you can expect to contribute 15 – 20 hours of effort per week.
Matric or graduating from high school GRADE 12 is equivalent to SAQA NQF 4.
At the beginning of your first week, you will receive the week’s outcomes with supporting videos from experts in the industry and supporting articles that will equip you to successfully complete your module.
During the week you will participate in educational discussion forums that will advance your knowledge and receive lecturer and peer feedback.
